(LAS VEGAS) Aug. 6, 2007 – Las Vegas Design Center, located within World Market Center and soon to be the country’s largest design center serving the interior design and hospitality contract industries, has announced the Phillips Collection, a High Point, N.C.-based company has opened a new showroom in Las Vegas on the second floor of Building A, in suite A202.
The Phillips Collection discovers and harnesses not only resources, but designers, from around the world and brings that spirit to market. For more than 20 years, the company has pushed the boundaries of contemporary design, offering scale, drama and a touch of surprise.
Jason Phillips, creative director of The Phillips Collection, said, “Our new Las Vegas showroom is in the Design Center, is open year-round. This is both exciting and new to us, and it has already proven to be a success. The Vegas market brought us a lot of new, west coast buyer. Being open between Markets has provided us with a steady flow of interior designers, hotel specifiers, and other qualified. We have an amazing location and a great display and are optimistic that this will be an important part of our.” Phillips added, “Our ‘green’ collection of eco-friendly furniture and accessories went over very well – as did our fountains, wall décor, and outdoor products.”
The Phillips Collection also has showrooms in Atlanta, Dallas, High Point, and London.

Open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, Las Vegas Design Center at World Market Center (495 South Grand Central Parkway) is the first of its kind, year-round, professional design resource in Las Vegas, offering 400,000 square feet of the newest products, trends and styles in furniture, lighting, floral, accessories, rugs and wall décor.
The Winter 2008 Las Vegas Market is scheduled for January 28 to February 1, 2008 at World Market Center’s Buildings A, B and Pavilions and tradeshow at the MGM Grand Hotel.
