Fashion 500 Runway Rewards Promotion to Award a Total of $500,000
(AT LAS VEGAS MARKET), Feb. 1, 2008 – World Market Center announced the names of 20 more Las Vegas Market buyers on Wednesday and Thursday who each won $5,000 as part of The Fashion 500 Runway Rewards promotion.
The Fashion 500 Runway Awards is a first-of-its-kind promotional event that will randomly select 10 winners each day of market to receive $5,000.

To be eligible to win one of the 50 daily prizes of $5,000 or the $250,000 grand prize, participants had to first register to attend January’s Las Vegas Market (www.lasvegasmarket.com) and then attend. Registered buyers and designers who attend the January 2008 Las Vegas Market were automatically entered into the drawing upon their badge being scanned via RFID badge scanning portals, which exist at the entry points of World Market Center and the MGM Grand Exhibition Hall.
38-year old Tim Koerner of the Coeur D’Alene, Idaho-based Koerner Furniture was randomly selected as the winner of $250,000 during Wednesday evening’s drawing. Koerner has attended every Las Vegas Market since the July 2005 debut. Koerner was speechless about his winnings. “I feel very blessed and lucky,” he said.
The $5,000 daily prize winners need not be present at the drawing to win. The winner of the grand prize drawing for $250,000 must have attended Winter Las Vegas Market and must have been present at the time of the drawing on Wednesday evening in order to win. Entrants were eligible to win only one sweepstakes prize as part of the promotion. The certified accounting firm of KPMG was on hand to verify methodology and results of each drawing.
